Great news

Last week I got a phone call... I had been waiting for it for almost a year... It was my sister who rang me up. Her voice was really happy, but it seemed to be shaking... "You will be an aunt soon..." I could hardly believe my ears: she is pregnant!! :D

One of the most beautiful periods in a woman's life is when she is expecting a baby, if it is not the most beautiful... (I don't know, I just think so...) A new life begins. A small human being is growing in her stomach... She feels every little heartbeat and movement... Dreaming, hoping, loving... The greatest gift from the nature, and this time it is given to my sister! :D

Eleonora and her husband have been planning founding a family for years. According to them, it's high time to start it. Everybody was expecting this day with enthusiasm. The whole family already loves the unborn baby :). The young mother-to-be is enjoying these months when everybody and everything turns around her... :)

We went home this weekend, without hesitation! Big family-lunch, sparkling wine (except for Eleonora :P) and long chat... But I hope that this was only the first act of the celebration. :) a kind of introduction... :)

Clownish April

Ludicrous April has come... Our month... :P I do like it... Especially the first day of it! :) I'm trying to invent something funny every year, but this year has happened the most ridiculous thing ever: I completely forgot about this special day! :S But my friends don't...:)

On Tuesday morning I woke up, opened the door and... surprise! There was a huge barricade in front of me. It consisted of a table -stolen from the hall :)-, a clotheshorse -stolen from my room and of a roll of paper... On the paper a big smile saw to making me laugh. :D

I hope that this month will go on in such a cheerful mood!

In our family every holiday is a special event. As we were small children –a long time ago :) - my parents tried to create the conditions for familiar celebration. My sister and I came to like the little customs at first time.

The typical symbol for Easter is the painted egg. Family gathering at us always started at Saturday afternoon with painting them. On Sunday morning these eggs – mixed with chocolate ones – were lying widely scattered in our huuuge garden. Little girls had to search for them. If we had found all of the eggs, we got on the end of a way which led to surprises...

I saw the Easter bunny once... :) It had curly hair and a beautiful smile... That Easter morning I woke up too early and I saw “the bunny“ carrying our gifts... The next thing I remember was my father who picked me up and took me back to the house... :)

The most remarkable Easter Monday of my life was last year. In the early morning (at six) the barking of dogs woke me up. I went downstairs, looked out of the window. There were my friends standing in the yard, pondered over something. When I stepped outside, saw the buckets in their hands. In the same moment I felt the cold water on my skin. Huge amount of water came pouring on me from five 10-litre buckets. I soaked to the skin... ;)

This Easter gave me a surprise, too. My headache was getting worst day by day. Finally I went to an ophthalmologist who diagnosed that my sight is failing. That caused my pain.

Fortunately I got glasses rapidly. Since we made it by a private doctor, don´t have to wait very much. They are small, very simple and extremely useful – I like them. This is my second day with glasses and without a headache! :) From the worst week this year turned out to be a turning point of my life. I´m glad that it had a happy end.

Happy Easter to everyone! :)

Horrible period...

Everyone is happy because of the nice weather: the sun is shining, the temperature is increasing day by day... No problem with that, only the high temperature is unusual at this month. It is not good for nature, for sowing and for our health. It's good only for bacteria and diseases... I speak from experience. Last week was awful: fever, headache, sore throat, running nose... It sounds familiar to everyone, doesn't it? After 10 days of wasting time in bed, I feel better...
But this period is horrible not only for me, but for most of my acquaintances. If they don't have headaches, than feel weak as a kitten or tired... It is some kind of a spring-tiredness and I hope that I will end soon. :)

Here again!

The second semester began two weeks ago. With re-charged batteries we continue studying.
At the beginning of the exam-time I was delighted that I didn't have to wake up early but on the end of January I was missing the university... It's crazy but true. Oh, I could say: Sad but true... :)
(by the way, do you like Metallica?)

Sometimes I feel like sitting on a roller coaster. Emotionally. Mainly these days because of the field-choosing... One day everything seems to be all right but next day gloomy thoughts come into my mind... (I know I'm not the only one with such feelings.) I understand the structure of the system, but even so, I'm hesitating over the choice.
We are under pressure this semester. First of all the proficiency exam is getting nearer day by day. Don't you worry about it? I think it won't be so easy...
The second is this special field staff. Hmmm... :/
And at last but not least the everyday problems: more or less serious things are waiting for solution...

I should go now. I hope we will get many useful information on the paper about specialization. See you there!:)
